Joseph-Octave Arsenault: was a Canadian politician who was the first Acadian from Prince Edward Island to be named to the Canadian Senate. In 1867, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island for the riding of 3rd Prince and served for 28 years. In 1895, he was appointed to the Senate representing the senatorial division of Prince Edward Island. He served until his death in Abram-Village in 1897. In 1861, he married Gertrude Gaudet. They had nine children. His son Aubin-Edmond Arsenault was Premier of Prince Edward Island and his son Joseph-Félix Arsenault served in the provincial assembly.

Télésphore Arsenault: was a Canadian politician, business manager and farmer. He was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in the 1930 election in the riding of Kent as a Member of the Conservative Party and defeated in the 1935 election. He ran in the 1940 election as a Nationalist but lost.

Aubin-Edmond Arsenault: was a Prince Edward Island politician. He was the 13th Premier of Prince Edward Island from 1917 to 1919. Aubin Arsenault was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island in 1908 as a Conservative. In 1912 he became Attorney-General in the government of Premier John A. Mathieson. When Mathieson left politics for a judicial appointment in 1917, Arsenault succeeded him becoming the first Acadian to be premier in any province. Arsenault's government repealed legislation which restricted automobile travel on the island to specific days and routes. His government also founded the PEI Travel Bureau. His government was defeated in the 1919 election and he served as leader of the opposition until 1921 when he was appointed to the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island. He retired in 1946.

Joseph-Félix "Joe-Félix" Arsenault: was a merchant and political figure in Prince Edward Island, Canada. He represented 3rd Prince in the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island from 1897 to 1904 as a Conservative member. He was defeated by Joseph Félix H. Arsenault when he ran for reelection in 1904. In 1905, he left for Coleraine, Minnesota, where he worked for a mining company until 1913. He returned to Summerside and then moved to Charlottetown in 1917 to work for the Department of Internal Revenue. He operated a general store in Abrams Village from 1922 to 1925, then moved to Summmerside, where he managed a general store. Arsenault died in Summerside at the age of 81.
