Gholam Hossein Mazloomi: an Iranian retired football player. He played for a few football clubs including Taj Abadan, Taj Tehran, and Shahbaz FC, as well as the Iranian national team.When playing for Taj FC, he became the Iranian league's top goalscorer in two consecutive seasons of 1973/74 and 1974/75. He was the top goalacorer again in 1976/77 season when he was playing for Shahbaz FC.He made his debut for Team Melli in September 1969 against Pakistan. He has a total of 40 caps and 19 goals for Iran.

Gholam Hossein Peyrovani: a former Iranian football player and now manager.He currently coaches his hometown team, Fajr Sepasi. He is also the older brother of former Persepolis FC and Iranian national team player, Afshin Peyrovani.In 1969, at the age of 15, Peyrovani joined Shiraz's most popular team, Bargh Shiraz. His father was a big fan of the team as well, and helped the team financially. He quickly established a spot for himself in the team, and eventually became the starting libero. At the time Iranian football was highly polarized and most players were ignored unless they played for a club in Tehran. Peyrovani though attracted the attention of many and in 1976 was named the best libero of the Takhte Jamshid Cup by Donyaye Varzesh (World Of Sports) magazine.

Gholam Mohammad Nousher: is a former Bangladeshi cricketer who played in 9 ODIs from 1986 to 1990.He was Bangladesh's main strike bowler during the 2nd half of the 1980s. Though his career was hampered at times by bad injuries, he nevertheless continued on to serve the national side well into the 90's. He was sorely missed during the 2nd round matches of 1994 ICC Trophy in Kenya, as he was sidelined by an injury.
