Ludger Rémy: is a German harpsichordist, conductor and musicologist. Ludger Rémy studied the harpsichord in Freiburg im Breisgau and continued his studies with Kenneth Gilbert in Paris. He was a teacher at several German academies including the Folkwang Hochschule and the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt", Weimar. In 1998 he was appointed professor for Early music at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden.[1]

Ludger Forest: was a dentist and political figure in Quebec. He represented Sherbrooke in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1922 to 1923 as a Liberal. Forest was a dentist in Sherbrooke. From 1914 to 1917, he was president of the College of Dentists for Quebec. He served on the town council for Sherbrooke from 1913 to 1922. He was elected in an 1922 by-election. Forest was defeated when he ran for reelection in 1923. In 1926, he married Marie-Emma Benoît. Forest was mayor of Sherbrooke in 1932 and 1933. He died in Sherbrooke at the age of 65.

Ludger Dionne: was a Canadian businessman and a politician, who represented the electoral district of Beauce in the Canadian House of Commons from 1945 to 1949.He was first elected to the House of Commons in the 1945 election. When faced with a worker's strike in his rayon mill in 1947, Dionne went to Poland and "hired" 100 Polish Catholic women and emigrated them to Canada to work as either nuns or to work in his rayon mill. During his visit to Poland, he was interviewed by Will Lang Jr. of Life and discussed with Lang his intentions. When Dionne returned to Canada, the striking workers protested to the Canadian government about the immigrants stealing their jobs.
