Kerstin Tidelius,: a Swedish actress.A highly practised and acclaimed Swedish stage actress. Born in Stockholm. Awarded with Svenska Dagbladets Thaliapris (the Thalia Acting Award) in 1966. Has worked maily on stage throughout her career with ca 20 film and tv appearances altogether: Her most notable performances here being as Ingrid Löfgren in Swedish long-runner Hem till byn tv-series and her extremely fine supporting part of Henrietta Vergérus, the bishop's sister, in Fanny and Alexander by Ingmar Bergman.

Kerstin Thorborg Origin/Culture/Country: Swedish
Kerstin Thorborg: She made her debut in 1924 singing the difficult role of Ortrud. Eight years later, the famed conductor Bruno Walter engaged her for the Städtische Oper in Berlin and became her mentor. Although a contralto, Thorborg's upper register was so secure that she sang numerous mezzo-soprano roles, including Venus, Kundry, Fricka, Waltraute, and Magdalena. She was especially known for her searingly beautiful Brangäne, which fortunately was preserved on record. She also appears to wonderful advantage in the live recording of Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, with Charles Kullmann, under Bruno Walter, at the Vienna Musikverein in 1936. In 1938, to escape the Nazis, she made her home in the United States, singing various roles at the Met. She returned to her native Sweden in 1950, after her retirement.

George Friedrich Kersting: was a German painter, best known for his Biedermeier-style interior paintings.Kersting came from a large and impoverished family in Güstrow, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, the son of a glazier. He studied at the progressive Copenhagen Academy between 1805 and 1808, where he adapted the visual clarity of the contemporary Danish school[1] and was awarded a silver medal in draughtsmanship. Kersting moved to Dresden in 1808,[2] joining the Lützow Free Corps — a voluntary force of the Prussian Army — in 1813. He moved to Poland in 1814 to work as a drawing master, and returned to Meissen in 1818, where he married and had four children. That year he became the chief artist at a Biedermeier porcelain manufacturer in Meissen and remained there until life's end.
