Svatopluk Cech: was a Czech writer, journalist and poet.His first poem Husita na Baltu was published in the almanac Ruch in 1868. Similarly to his work Adamité it is inspired by history (Hussite Wars). His poem Evropa (1878) takes its motive from revolutionary movements of the time, his poem Slávie (1882) propagates ideals of Slavic unity, the poem Václav z Michalovic (1880) depicts religious oppression by Jesuits, his poem Lešetínský kovár (1883 confiscated, 1899) social problems of industrialization.

Svatopluk Turek: was a Czech novelist, known under pen name T. Svatopluk.After studying arts at the university he worked as graphics designer in Bata company in Zlín. He is most know for his book Botostroj (The Shoe Machine) where he depicted the company as an inhuman mechanism destroying lives of people and its boss Tomáš Bata as a dictator. The novel is written in very fast, expressive language.

Svatopluk Havelka: He studied composition privately with Karel Boleslav Jirák from 1945 to 47, while a student of musicology at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University under Josef Hutter and Antonín Sychra.[1] Havelka subsequently became a member of the music department of Czechoslovak Radio in Ostrava. At the same time he was the founder and artistic director of the NOTA Ensemble (1949 - 1950).[1] For the next four years he was an instructor and composer with the Army Art Ensemble.[1] Since 1954 he devoted himself to composing. Havelka died on February 24 2009 in Prague.

Svatopluk Innemann: was a Czech film director, cinematographer, screenwriter, film editor and actor. Innemann, brother of Miroslav Innemann and Liduška Innemannová, was one of the pioneers of Czech cinema.The 1932 film Pred maturitou, which he made in cooperation with the Czech writer Vladislav Vancura, is considered to be his second creative peak. In 1933, Inneman directed the crime film Vražda v Ostrovní ulici, the first film to be made in the Barrandov Studios. His film career ended in 1937 with Švanda dudák
