Karel Gott: is a Czech singer, as well as an amateur painter. He represented Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 1968 with the song Tausend Fenster, finishing in 13th place.Gott was born in Plzen, Czechoslovakia, and has lived in Prague since age 6. He initially wanted to study art, but failed the exams at UMPRUM, the Secondary School of Art and Industry, upon which he began training as an electrician. On completing his studies, he began working as an electrician, but was soon fascinated by the new types of music flooding the city, and became interested in jazz.

Karel Kovarovic: was a Czech composer and conductor.From 1873 to 1879 he studied clarinet, harp and piano at the Prague Conservatory[1]. He began his career as a harpist. In 1900 Kovarovic became the conductor of the national theatre in Prague, due mostly to the success of his opera The Dogheads. His engagement in the National Theatre lasted twenty years, till 1920.[

Karel Plíhal: is a Czech folk and jazz musician, singer, songwriter and record producer.He graduated from the Industrial College of Engineering and then worked as a designer and boilerman in the Olomouc theatre, finally becoming a singer (even though he had no musical schooling). He has played the guitar since he was 15 year old. First, he played in various underground country-swing bands in Olomouc: Hucka, Falešní hráci and Plíharmonyje. He produced his first solo album in 1983.
