Bretislav Pojar: is a puppeteer, animator and director of short and feature films.Pojar started his career in the late 1940s with his work on The Story of the Bass Cello (1949) based on the story by Anton Chekhov and directed by master Czech puppet animator Jirí Trnka. Pojar served as a puppeteer under his mentor Trnka. Pojar compiled an extensive body of work as a director and animator in Czechoslovakia, where he made films in both puppet animation to the more common stop motion animation.

Bretislav Benda: was a significant Czech sculptor, student of Josef Václav Myslbek and member of Mánes Union of Fine Arts from 1923.Benda's bronzes often focused on the female body, being one of the few sculptors to focus on this almost exclusively. His architectural sculpture includes interior work at the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, the Komercní banka in Náchod (with the architect Pavel Janák) and a relief for a 1935 savings bank in Ceské Budejovice.

Bretislav Bakala: was a Czech conductor, pianist, and composer. He studied conducting at the Brno Conservatory with František Neumann, composition with Leoš Janácek at the organ school.[1] In 1922 he continued his studies at the Master school at the Conservatory with Vilém Kurz. From 1920 to 1925 and from 1929 to 1931 he worked as a conductor of the National Theatre in Brno. From 1925 he worked for a short time as an organist in Philadelphia in the USA, and from 1926 he became a pianist and conductor of the Czech Radio Orchestra in Brno. In 1951 he began teaching at the newly founded Janácek Academy of Music and Performing Arts.[1
