Blazej Augustyn: a Polish defender who plays for Rimini Calcio, on loan from Legia Warsaw.He signed for Bolton midway through the 2005-06 season, and made his first appearance for the first team in an FA Cup 3rd round tie against Doncaster Rovers on 6 January 2007, coming on as substitute for Abdoulaye Méïté.He was offered a contract extension by former Bolton manager Sammy Lee, but turned it down as his first team opportunities would be limited.[1]

Franciszek Blazej: He was a professional officer of the Polish Army, and participated in the Polish September Campaign. Some time in early 1940s, he joined Rzeszów District of Zwiazek Walki Zbrojnej (later Home Army).In 1945 he became member of Rzeszów District of the anti-Communist organization Wolnosc i Niezawislosc (WiN). He was editor-in-chief of WiN's magazine "White Eagle", also between December 1946 and fall of 1947, Blazej was director of Southern Department of WiN. Captured by Urzad Bezpieczenstwa in November 1947 in Cracow, he was beaten and tortured in the Mokotów Prison for so long that his body started to rot and gangrene set in.
