She competed in 1994 World Aquatics Championships and won Silver medals in women's 100 m (59.69) and 200 m butterfly (2:07.40). She finished behind her compatriot, Liu Limin in both race. The time in 200m butterfly was her career best. In October, 1994, she set career best in women's 100m butterfly (58.70) in Asian Games to win silver medal behind Liu Limin. In 1996,

Ch'eng Mao-yün: was a Chinese composer and a professor at National Central University and Hangzhou Societal University (??????). He composed the "National Anthem of the Republic of China."his submission of the melody of "Three Principles of the People" was chosen. In 1947, he travelled to Taiwan for the first time, where Hsiao Er-hua (??? Xiao Érhuà), head of the College of Music in the Taiwan Provincial Normal University, offered Ch'eng Mao-yün a position, but he refused. He never returned to Taiwan again. He had a stroke in 1951 in Xi'an, and he died of second stroke July 31, 1957.[1]
