Shao Fang Sheng: is a well known Chinese artist who is also one of the last remaining apprentices of Frank Lloyd Wright. Of Shao Fang, Olgivanna Lloyd-Wright observed she, “made friends with unmatched speed and always with those she could profit by most.” Upon arrival to the United States, she stayed with Frank Lloyd Wright and Olgivanna Lloyd Wright, where she cooked and entertained guests including John Wayne, James Stewart and other actors and socialites. She taught Mandarin to John King Fairbank, a well known scholar from Harvard University, at the American Embassy in Nanking. Furthermore her ability to paint with watercolours was noticed by several well known painting masters and she was commissioned by the Nationalist Government of China, to duplicate the fresco within the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, situated in the Taklamakan Desert of China. Her late husband Sheng Pao Sheng was also an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright and a respected architect.

Shao Mi: was a Chinese landscape painter, calligrapher, and poet during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644).Shao was born in Shanghai in the Jiangsu province[1] . His style name was 'Sengmi' and his sobriquets were 'Guachou and Fentuo jushi '. Shao's landscapes have a pure and plain taste featuring highly detailed bamboo inks.

Shao Hua: was a Chinese photographer and a major general in the People's Liberation Army. Shao was the daughter-in-law of the late Communist Party Chairman Mao Zedong and the wife of Mao's second son, Mao Anqing, who had died in 2007. Shao began working as a photographer during the 1950s using a camera which had been brought to her from the Soviet Union by Mao Zedong's eldest son, Mao Anying. She traveled extensively throughout China following the Chinese Civil War. The subjects of her photographs were often related to the government of the Communist movement, including factories and other factors of production, army units, schools, and poor rural Chinese villages. She became the head of the China Photographers Association (CPA) in 2002 and served in that position until her death in 2008.
