Gang Tian: is a Chinese mathematician and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is known for his contributions to geometric analysis and quantum cohomology, among other fields. He was born in Nanjing, China, but now divides his time between Princeton University and Peking University.

A graduate of the 1982 class of the Beijing Film Academy, Xia is a member of the so-called Fifth Generation, though unlike his classmates Tian Zhuangzhuang and Chen Kaige, he did not gain prominence until relatively later, in the late 1980s.[1]Like his contemporary Huang Jianxin, Xia's works have focused on modern urban relationships and particularly marriage and love.[1] His film Yesterday's Wine (1995) is most indicative of his interest in modernity and relationships, as it details a young woman's maturation in a modern Chinese city.

Li Gang: is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Chengdu Blades as a midfielder. Li Gang started his career in 2001 with Dalian Saidelong (who later changed their name to Shanghai United F.C.). During his time with them he would see them win promoted to the Chinese Super League at the end of the 2004 league season.

From 1981 to 1984 Qian coauthored with Jiang Yonghong the "Blue Army Commander" (????) and "Rushes to the Forefront" (?????) , works that won the second and third prize for National Excellent Reporting. In 1986 he published "The Great Tangshan Earthquake" (?????), a work based on his university thesis. The book again won national accolades and was translated into English, Japanese, Korean, and French. Qian’s other works include "Journal of the Qing American Education Mission" (???????), coauthored with Hu Supergrass; "The Qing Navy and Li Hongzhang”, "Record of Twentieth Century Disasters in China” , edited with Geng Qingguo eds), "Old News Reporter" "Chinese Media and Political Reform" , "The Media situation in China Recorded" , coauthored with Chen Wanying.
