Chen Shou: born in Nanchong, Sichuan, was the author of the Records of Three Kingdoms, a historical account of the Three Kingdoms period of China. He was once an officer from the Shu of Three Kingdoms. His (supposed) father, Chen Shi (as there is no account of his father's name), was also an officer of Shu, and once had his beard shaved off as a penalty by order of Zhuge Liang after a campaign that failed due to a shortsighted strategy of his commander, Ma Su. After the fall of the Shu in 263, he served as an officer under the Jin Dynasty, under which he later wrote the Records of Three Kingdoms.

He has lived in France since 1984, and obtained French nationality in 1992.Qigang Chen was born into a family of artists, including several members who were sent to the Laogai during the Cultural Revolution. Chen was sent to an ideological reeducation camp. After the introduction of induction courses for higher education in 1977, Chen passed a series of tests which allowed him to go and study abroad. At the age of 33 he arrived in Paris where he was the final student of Olivier Messiaen until 1988.

Jiang Chen: is a Chinese football player, who plays as a striker for Tianjin Teda F.C. in the Chinese Super League. On May 6, 2004 he made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute in the 80th minute for Sichuan Guancheng against Qingdao Hailifeng in the Chinese FA Cup.
