Tony Caterina: is a business man and municipal politician from Alberta, Canada. He currently serves a member of Edmonton City Council from 2007 to present. Caterina ran for a seat Edmonton municipal council as a candidate in the 2004 Edmonton municipal election in Ward 3. He finished in a close third place out of five candidates losing to Ed Gibbons and Janice Melnychuk. He ran an attack campaign against the two incumbents that gave him a tough reputation in municipal politics. After losing in the municipal election, Caterina ran for a seat to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as a candidate under the Alberta Alliance Party banner in the electoral district of Edmonton-Centre in the 2004 Alberta general election. He was defeated finishing in fifth out of sixth place losing to incumbent Laurie Blakeman. The two polls occurred only a month apart.
