Ordan Petlevski: was a prominent artist working in the media of painting, drawing, graphic arts and illustration. From 1955 to 1960 he was an associate of the Master workshop of the famous Croatian Naïve art artist, Krsto Hegedušic. In the early phase of his career (1954–1957) he painted stylized human figures, which he later replaced with surrealism, and later still with his own version of the Informel art style with organic art forms. The titles of his works also refer to organic forms, such as Flowering, Reanimated Fossil, Growth of a Form, Fruits, Divisions, Embryo and Form of Plenty. He exhibited at many solo shows in Zagreb, Belgrade, Skopje, Sarajevo and Paris, and participated at numerous international exhibitions. He exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1964 with Oton Gliha, Edo Murtic, Zlatko Prica, Fran Šimunovic, Vojin Bakic and Dušan Džamonja. Two retrospective exhibitions were held featuring his work: one at the Art Pavilion in Zagreb, (1973) and one at Gallery Klovicevi Dvori (Zagreb, 1999).

Gustavo Díaz Ordaz: served as the President of Mexico from 1964 to 1970.Diaz Ordaz was born in San Andrés Chalchícomula (Ciudad Serdán, Puebla). His father, Ramón Díaz Ordaz Redonet, worked as an accountant, while his mother, Sabina Bolaños Cacho de Díaz Ordaz, worked as a school teacher. His great-grandfather, José María Díaz Ordaz, a lawyer and a general, served as the Governor of Oaxaca. Díaz Ordaz graduated from the University of Puebla on February 8, 1937 with a law degree. He became a professor at the university and served as vice rector from 1940–1941. In 1943 he became a federal deputy for the first district of the state of Puebla, and served as a senator for the same state from 1946–1952. He served as the Secretary of Government in the cabinet of president Adolfo López Mateos from 1958–1964. On December 1, 1963, he became the candidate for the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). The 1965 yearbook of Encyclopædia Britannica declared that despite facing only token opposition, Díaz Ordaz campaigned as if he were the underdog. He won the presidential election on September 8, 1964.
