Mei Shigenobu: Some news agencies have given her name as May Shigenobu.She was born in Lebanon, though she was not a citizen of any country until March 2001, when she received Japanese citizenship.[2][3] Shigenobu lived her first eight or nine years in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon; Fusako Shigenobu was absent for months at a time and Mei was raised in those periods by her mother's colleagues in the Japanese Red Army. Following the Army's 1972 terror attack at Lod Airport, Israel, in which 24 people were killed and 76 wounded, members of the group, including Shigenobu, had to move frequently and use aliases to evade Mossad reprisals.

Mei Qing: was a Chinese landscape painter, calligrapher and poet during the Qing Dynasty.His style name was 'Yuangong' (?? or ??) and his pseudonym was 'Mount Qu' (Qushan ??), 'Winter Hut' (Xue Lu - ??), and 'Lao Qu Fan Fu' (????).[2] Mei was taught by Wang Meng.[1] He was a friend Shitao, influencing some of Shitao's earlier works.[3] His landscape paintings were based on his many travels to the Yellow Mountain.

Mei Li Vos: is a Dutch politician. Currently she is member of the House of Representatives for the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA). She previously was a trade unionist and an editorialist.Between 1988 and 1989 she studied General Social Science at the University of Utrecht. Vos studied political science at the University of Amsterdam. Between 1994 and 2002 she worked as teacher and researcher at the political science department of the University of Amsterdam. In 1994-1995 she also worked part time as manager of the Maarten Altena Ensemble.
