Jenni Falconer: After her family relocated to the South of England aged 7, Falconer moved to Leeds in 1994 to attend university, majoring in Spanish and Italian, with minors in Latin, Geography and Management. Studies[2] However, she dropped out after a couple of years. Jenni now lives in London with her boyfriend James Midgley, an actor best known for his role in Cutting It, who now runs his own post production facility.She made her television debut in 1994 as a contestant on Blind Date, and later presented BBC Scotland's Big Country and ITV's We Can Work It Out.[1] She was the main host of Entertainment Today since its launch on GMTV in 2000[1] until it's end in 2008.

Hugh Falconer: was a distinguished Scottish geologist, botanist, palaeontologist and paleoanthropologist. He studied the flora, fauna and geology of India, Assam and Burma, and made the first discovery of the modern evolutionary theory of punctuated equilibrium. He may also have been the first person to discover a fossil ape.Falconer was the youngest son of David Falconer of Forres, Elginshire. In 1826 Hugh Falconer graduated at the University of Aberdeen, where he studied natural history. He afterwards studied medicine in the University of Edinburgh, taking the degree of M.D. in 1829. During this period he zealously attended the botanical classes of Prof. R. Graham (1786-1845), and those on geology by Prof. Robert Jameson, the teacher of Charles Darwin.
