José Antonio Iglesias Alemán: is a Cuban professional baseball shortstop with the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball in the United States. In March 2011, Iglesias was optioned to the Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox. Iglesias was called up by the Red Sox and made his major league debut on May 8, 2011 as a defensive substitute for Jed Lowrie in the ninth inning of a 9–5 win over the Minnesota Twins. He made the final out of the game, fielding a ground-out from Alexi Casilla. In the next game, he represented the game-winning run, scoring from first base on a Carl Crawford double in the 11th inning. On May 11, 2011, Iglesias made his first MLB start at shortstop due to Jed Lowrie being sick.

Carlos Julio Villar Aleman: is a self-taught creator of humorous drawings, known as "Cuba's foremost caricaturist". Since 1990, he has resided in Mexico City, Mexico. Since 1980, he has been a member of the Unión de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba (UNEAC) in Havana, Cuba. In 1983, he was a Juror at the III Biennial Internacional de Humorismo in San Antonio de los Baños, Havana, Cuba. In 1980 he exhibited "René de la Nuez and Carlucho" at the FITIL Movie Theater in Moscow, Russia. In 1985 he presented "30 Obras de Humor Político de Carlucho" in Michoacan, Mexico. In 1988 presented his works "Desde el blanco hasta el negro" at the Galería Juan David in Centro Cinematográfico Yara, Havana, Cuba. In 1990 he exhibited "Sobran las palabras" at the Castillo de la Real Fuerza in Havana, Cuba.

Juan Pablo Villar Aleman: is a Cuban artist specializing in drawing, painting, engraving and graphic design. Since 1989, he resides in Mexico City, Mexico. He was Member of the Taller Experimental de Gráfica (TEG), Havana. In 1985 he was Juror of the Salón de Artes Plásticas UNEAC '85 held at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana, Havana. In 1987 he was Professor at the Taller de Diseño Gráfico, Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, Mexico City. Solo exhibitions include Dibujos JAN/Artemio, shown at the Habana Libre Hotel Gallery, Havana, 1971. In 1978 presented Grabados de Jan.
