Albrecht Goertz: was a German who designed cars for BMW including the BMW 503 and BMW 507.Goertz joined the US Army in 1940 and served for five years. After leaving the Army he drove the Paragon to New York and while driving it he accidentally encountered Raymond Loewy, the famous car designer. Loewy invited Goertz to his office, sent him to college to learn about design and later gave him a job in the Studebaker studio in Indiana.

Albrecht Penck            Origin/Culture/Country: German

Albrecht Penck: was a German geographer and geologist and the father of Walther Penck.Penck became a university professor in Vienna from 1885 to 1906, and in Berlin from 1906 to 1927. There he was also the director of the Institute and Museum for Oceanography by 1918. Penck dedicated himself to geomorphology and climatology and raised the international profile of the Vienna School of physical geography. In 1945, Penck died in Prague. Since 1886, he was married to the sister of the successful Bavarian regional writer Ludwig Ganghofer. In memory of Penck, the painter and sculptor Ralf Winkler adopted the nom de plume A. R. Penck in 1966.

This is reinforced by his theoretical treatise which involve principles of mathematics, perspective and ideal proportions.

Albrecht Becker: was a production designer, photographer, and actor, who was imprisoned by the Nazi regime for the charge of homosexuality. In 1935, he was arrested on suspicion of violating Paragraph 175 and sentenced to three years in prison at Nürnberg. On his release he joined the German army and served on the Russian front until 1944. He died in Hamburg, Germany. Becker spoke of his experiences during the war in the 2000 documentary Paragraph 175.

He played for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the team which won the 1933 German championship.Between 1928 and 1934 he appeared 17 times for the German national football team, achieving four goals. Though he didn't participate in the tournament, he was part of the German team which came third in the 1934 FIFA World Cup in Italy.
