Bert Hazell: also known as Bertie Hazell, is a retired British Labour Party politician and trade union activist.He was elected Member of Parliament (MP) for North Norfolk in 1964. The constituency had the rare distinction of being an agricultural seat electing Labour MPs since 1945, owing to a history of organised agricultural trade unionism and a working-class rural Labour vote in Norfolk at the time, very untypical of the rest of the country. Hazell himself was the president of the National Union of Agricultural Workers. He lost his seat after six years, however, at the 1970 general election to the Conservative candidate Ralph Howell. Subsequently Labour have never regained Norfolk North, and were relegated to third place while the Liberal Democrats eventually gained the seat in 2001.

Bert Hobson: was an English footballer who played for Sunderland as a defender. He made his debut for Sunderland on 24 March 1913 in a 3–1 win against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.[1] He stayed at Roker Park with Sunderland from 1913 to 1922 and made 160 league appearances, with a single goal, although his appearances were halted due to the First World War.

Bert Davis: was an English footballer who played for Sunderland as an outside winger.Davis made his debut for Sunderland on August 27, 1932 in a 3-2 win against the Manchester City at Roker Park.[2] He helped Sunderland become league champions in the 1935-1936 season, but was ousted his position by Len Duns, forcing him to miss out on Sunderland's 1937 FA Cup.[1] In his career at Sunderland, Davis made 162 appearances and scored 40 goals.[
