He finished a close second in the 2008 Drivers' World Championship, and is under contract to race for Scuderia Ferrari until the end of the 2010 season.[1] During the 2009 season, Luca Badoer replaced Massa in rounds 11 and 12, followed by Giancarlo Fisichella for rounds 13 to 17, after Massa's head injury in the Hungarian Grand Prix.Massa began karting when he was 8 years old, finishing fourth in his first season. He could have moved to Formula Three, but instead chose the Formula 3000 Euro-Series, where he won 6 of the 8 races and the championship. He was then offered a Formula 1 test with the Sauber team, who signed him for 2002. He also drove for Alfa Romeo in the European Touring Car Championship as a guest driver.

Geoffrey Massa: is a Ugandan football (soccer) player for Itesalat in the Egyptian Premeir League and Uganda. He began his profi career 2004 by Police FC in the Ugandan Premier League before to Egypt side El Shams in 2005. He played two years in Egypt before moving in 2006 to South African top club Jomo Cosmos, for the team played 14 games and shoots 1 goal. In 2008 leave the team and turned back to Egypt and signs a contract by Itesalat. Massa has made several appearances for the Uganda national football team, his first coming in 2005. He was expected to represent Uganda at the 2008 African Cup of Nations, but his Egyptian club refused to release him.
