Keshava Baliram Hedgewar: was the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Hedgewar founded the RSS in Nagpur, Maharashtra in 1925, with the intention of promoting the concept of the Hindu nation. Hedgewar drew upon influences from social and spiritual Hindu reformers such as Swami Vivekananda, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Aurobindo to develop the core philosophy of the RSS.

Keshava Malagi: a leading Kannada writer of the post-Bandaya generation. He has published two novels Kunkuma bhoomi and Angada dhare, and three story collections, Kadala terege dande, Maagi moovattaidu and Vennela dorasani[1].He obtained his MA from Gulbarga University and began his career as a journalist. He served as sub-editor in Suddi sangati, Prajavani and Times of India, and as editor with Orient Longman. Malagi moved from journalism to education and joined MAYA, a Bangalore-based NGO. He now works with the Azim Premji foundation [2].
