Hein De Haan: is a Dutch Architect, Urbanist and Teacher at the faculty of Architecture of the TU Delft. de Haan graduated from the TU Delft in 1970. He worked as a teacher at the Academie van Bouwkunst Amsterdam, Groningen, and Tilburg.Since 1975, he has been working at the TU Delft. Until September 2007, de Haan was chairman of the Stylos Stichting, a foundation which exists since 1984 to support initiatives from students of the Architecture faculty of the TU Delft.

Setske De Haan: was a Dutch writer of children's books. She is the author of the series of Joop ter Heul novels.In 1914, she met Leo Beek, a department store manager as well as a reserve infantry officer. They married on 2 February 1916 and had two sons, Leo and IJnze. Her husband was arrested and later executed at Westerbork transit camp in 1944, though it was 1946 before she learned of his fate. She died on 31 October 1948 in Bussum, Netherlands.[1]

Jan De Haan: is a contemporary Dutch composer, publisher, conductor and musician.Between 1961 and 1968 he played as a trombone player in the Nationaal Jeugd Fanfareorkest and in the brass band Pro-Rege from Heerenveen. He studied trombone at the Muziek-Pedagogische Akademie in Leeuwarden between 1969 and 1973. In 1974 he started to study brass band direction under Henk van Lijnschooten at the conservatory in Utrecht and earned his diploma in 1976. From 1969 to 1977 he taught a brass class at the music school in Heerenveen.
