Dora Pejacevic: was the first Croatian female composer.Dora Pejacevic was a daughter of an excellent Croatian pianist and singer Lilla Pejacevic, who gave her her first music lessons. Dora began to compose when she was only 12. She studied music in Zagreb, Dresden and Münich. She married in 1921. Although she led a lonely life, she met many eminent musicians and writers, and was friends with Austrian journalist and writer Karl Kraus and Czech aristocrat and culture patron Sidonie Nádherná.

Dora Pavel: is a Romanian novelist, short-story writer, poet, and journalist.She is the daughter of Viorica (b. Pop) and of Eugen Voicu, both teachers. She graduated Decebal College in Deva (1964), and the Faculty of Letters of the Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj (1969). College professor of Romanian language in Alba Iulia and Deva, then researcher at the Institute of Linguistics and Literary History in Cluj; since 1990, she works as editor at the local Radio Station of Cluj, where she realizes successful broadcastings on topics of Romanian language and literature. Debut with poetry in the literary magazine Steaua (1972); editorial debut in the collective volume Alpha '84, published in 1984 at Dacia Publishing House. She publishes poetry and prose in literary magazines such as Tribuna, Steaua, Contrapunct, Apostrof, Contemporanul-Ideea europeana, România literara, Viata româneasca, Poesis, Familia, and Vatra. She also signs interviews in several cultural magazines.
