Zdzislaw Zygulski: sometimes referred as junior, is a Polish art historian, professor of Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, Anglicist. Expert of armament, museology, history of Middle East art and costumology. Author of exhibitions and about 200 papers.Zygulski was studying at Jagiellonian University. Since 1949 he is a curator of the Arm and Armour Section at Czartoryski Museum. During the period of 1975–1981 he was a president of International Association of Museums of Art and Military History. Zygulski was also a lecturer of history and art theory at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and at American universities in New York and Storrs.

Zdzislaw Gierwatowski: was a Polish footballer.Having originated with Polonia Warszawa, he started his career in the 1938-39 season. He was a left-sided defender with one of the most acclaimed playing stances in the Polish game during the 1940s. In active combat in Warsaw during the Second World War, Gierwatowski never regained his form post-1945, he remained in football as a trainer and coach.
