Yoshio Akeboshi: a Japanese pop and folk singer. He is mainly known for the song "Wind" , which was used as the ending theme to the anime Naruto for the first twenty-five episodes.Akeboshi was born on July 1, 1978 in Yokohama. He learned to play the piano when he was thirteen years old, later learning to play the guitar. He studied music in Liverpool, and his time there has heavily influenced his music. Before his major debut, he produced two of the songs on Matsu Takako's fourth album, A piece of life.

Yoshio Machida: an experimental musician, a steelpanist, composer, and visual artist.Machida's first album Hypernatural (1999) had been featured with Brian Eno and Oval (band) on David Toop's article about Generative music. In 2001, Machida started to play improvised music by Steelpan with computer program Max/MSP. Machida has been invited to perform in ISEA2004, Sónar Tokyo, MaerzMusik and other venues. In 2004, Machida founded an experimental music label Amorfon. Machida also organized "Japan-Macedonia exchange art exhibition" and some workshops for children.[1]

Yoshio Markino: was a Japanese artist and author who spent much of his life in London. He was born at the town of Toyota in Japan, at birth being named Heiji Makino.He was curious about and attracted to Western culture. When he was 24 (1893) he took ship at Yokohama, on his way to San Francisco. He enrolled at the Mark Hopkins Institute of Art and stayed in the city for the next four years.In 1897 he went to London via New York, and decided to stay at the British capital where he spent most of his subsequent life and career (1897-1942). He was well received among British writers and artists, and his illustrations of the city published in 1907 in The Colour of London got critical acclaim. This was followed by in 1908 by The Colour of Paris and The Colour of Rome, and in 1912 by The Charm of London.

Yoshio Sakai: was a Japanese field hockey player who competed in the 1932 Summer Olympics and in the 1936 Summer Olympics.In the 1936 tournament he played all three matches as halfback for the Japanese field hockey team, when they were eliminated after the group stage.

Famous along with his fellow students Cho Chikun, Kobayashi Koichi, Kato Masao, and Takemiya Masaki. Alike his fellow students, he joined the dojo at a young age. He became a professional in 1963 when he was 15. His dan rank grew quickly because of the Oteai. He would go up the ranks faster than rules allowed after winning the first 14 Oteai games when he was being promoted from 6 to 7 dan. He reached 9 dan in 11 years, faster than most other players do. Ishida was given the nickname "The Computer" because his endgame play and counting skills were far more accurate than other pro's.

He first competed in the D1 Grand Prix in the first round of 2002 and has always scored points in every season. He got his first victory in Round 4 of the 2005 season at Autopolis. His Toyota Sprinter Trueno is very fast as it is normally aspirated and uses nitrous oxide, this leads to him being feared by the other competitors and also many crashes. In 2007 he had an average season being best of the AE86 drivers, finishing in 8th place overall. In 2008 he has switched from his trusty AE86 to a Lexus SC430 prepared by renown tuning garage Tom's, now he just has to get used to the new machine.

He placed 19th at the 1998 FIS Ski Flying World Championships.
