Wieslaw Walkuski: is a graphic designer born in Poland. Today he is much exhibited and works as a freelancer painter and poster artist.He started his graphic design education at the Warsaw Academy of Arts which he attended for 5 years, during the period 1976-1981. He studied under several design lecturers including Maciej Urbaniec who lectured in poster design and Teresa Pagowska who lectured in painting. At the end of his studies he was employed by Polfilm and Film Polski to produce artwork and cover designs. During this period he also with visual studio publishers and numerous theatre groups producing artwork for productions. In 1987 he commenced his career as a freelance graphic designer.

Wieslaw Wernic: popular Polish writer and journalist, best known for his series of Wild West books, sometimes called "Polish Karl May".During World War II fought in the Warsaw Uprising, after the war worked for a Polish daily Rzeczpospolita and weekly "Tygodnik Demokratyczny". His first stories were published in 1927, he returned to writing in the sixties when he wrote his fist Wild West book "Tropy wiodia przez prerie". Over the next 30 years he wrote 20 books about the adventures of Doctor Ian (his alter ego) and his friend Carl Gordon. Unlike Karl May to whom he was often compared, Wernic visited United States a number of times where he met with American Indians and was a leading authority on the history and customs of the Wild West.

In his younger days, Maniak lived in England and competed for a local Athletics club under the name of Vic Manning
