Vahid Hashemian Korbekandi: an Iranian football striker who currently plays for VfL Bochum in the German Bundesliga and the Iran national football team. Hashemian is nicknamed "helicopter", or hubschrauber in German, due to his outstanding ability to hang in the air.Vahid started his professional football career with Pas Tehran in his homeland. He arrived in Germany for the 1999/2000 season to play for Hamburger SV. Although playing alongside his fellow Iranian international Mehdi Mahdavikia, he had just 12 appearances, so he left the club for VfL Bochum to show his real ability. He had three good seasons with Bochum, scoring 34 goals in 87 appearances. Vahid Talebloo: an Iranian football goalkeeper, who currently plays for IPL giants Esteghlal F.C. and the Iran national football team.Talebloo was very impressive in Esteghlal's goal even though he was competing with another national team goalie, Mehdi Rahmati.He began receiving media attention when he was able to save Ali Daei's spot kick in an IPL match at the beginning of the 2005/2006 season. Ever since then he has become the main goalkeeper for Esteghlal and was one of the keys to Esteghlal winning the IPL championship in the 05/06 season.
