Teodor enjoyed success in Amsterdam and was visited and admired by Cosimo III de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany who was visiting Amsterdam while on his Grand Tour up the Rhine. In 1682, Teodor moved to Hannover where he found work for the art-loving Frederick William I, Elector of Brandenburg. He was appointed a conservator of his son's Akademie der Künste in 1702 before eventually moving to Poland in 1706, where he later died.[1]

Teodor Teofil Matecki: was a Polish physician, social activist and member of Poznan Society of Friends of Learning.He was awarded for his bravery afterwards but the Prussian authorities punished him for the participation in the uprising by sentencing him to three months in prison. He achieved a secondary school certificate in 1833 in Wroclaw and started his medicine studies at the university therein. He received the degree of doctor of medicine in 1837 and then he fulfilled his residency in Berlin. He went to live in Poznan the following year.
