Tao Qian: also known as Tao Yuanming (???), born in modern Jiujiang, Jiangxi, was one of the most influential pre-Tang Dynasty Chinese poets.He came from a notable family which had descended into poverty; when young, he was torn between ambition and a desire to retreat into solitude. His great-grandfather was the famous Eastern Jin general and governor, Tao Kan. He served in a series of minor posts, but his sister's death, as well as disgust at the corruption and infighting of the Jin Court prompted his resignation, convincing him that life was too short to compromise on his principles; as he put it himself, he would not "bow like a servant in return for five bushels of grain" ("??????" has entered common usage to mean "swallowing one's pride in exchange for a meagre existence". 'Five bushels of grain' refers to the salary of a low-ranking official). He lived in retirement for his last 22 years.

Tao Li: a China-born Singaporean competitive swimmer specializing in the backstroke and butterfly stroke.A Singapore Sports School student, Tao has represented Singapore at the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) and Asian Games and holds several national records. She won four gold medals and a bronze at the 2005 SEA Games in the Philippines, and reached the finals of the women's 50 metres, 100 metres and 200 metres butterfly events at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne though she did not gain any medals. In December 2006, Tao took a gold medal at the 50 metres butterfly in Doha's 2006 Asian Games, beating China's multi-gold medallist Xu Yanwei and breaking her own national record in the process

His works were produced with combining many different techniques. He was recognized as a top artist in his time and was very influential on other artists.[2]

Huang Zi Tao: is a Chinese rapper and singer. He is currently a member of the Mandopop group EXO-M, a subgroup of the Chinese-South Korean boy band EXO. The group released their first "prologue" single "What Is Love", on January 30, followed by their second "prologue" single "History" on March 9. They held their first pre-debut showcase in Seoul's Olympic Stadium on March 31, 2012, one hundred days after EXO debuted their first trailer on December 21, 2011. Approximately 3,000 fans from 8,000 applicants were selected to attend the showcase. The group held their second showcase and first press conference in the Great Hall of the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China on April 1.
