Saint Philomena: is a saint and martyr of the Roman Catholic Church, said to have been a young Greek princess martyred in the 4th century. Her veneration began in the early 19th century as a result of an archaeological find; after news of the find spread, several miracles were credited to her intercession. Devotion to her was especially publicised by Saint Jean Vianney, who attributed some of his works of faith healing to her aid.

Saint Isidore Of Seville: was Archbishop of Seville for more than three decades and has the reputation of being one of the great scholars of the early Middle Ages. All the later medieval history-writing of Hispania (the Iberian Peninsula, comprising modern Spain and Portugal) were based on his histories.At a time of disintegration of classical culture, and aristocratic violence and illiteracy, he was involved in the conversion of the royal Visigothic Arians to Catholicism, both assisting his brother Leander of Seville, and continuing after his brother's death. Like Leander, he took a most prominent part in the Councils of Toledo and Seville. The Visigothic legislation which resulted from these councils is regarded by modern historians as exercising an important influence on the beginnings of representative government.

Saint Stephen I: was Grand Prince of the Hungarians (997–1001) and the first King of Hungary (1001–1038). He greatly expanded Hungarian control over the Carpathian Basin during his lifetime, broadly established Christianity in the region, and he is generally considered to be the founder of the Kingdom of Hungary. Stephen I was canonized together with his son, Saint Emeric of Hungary and Bishop Gerard of Csanád, on August 20, 1083, becoming one of the most popular saints in Hungary.

Despite this confusion, it appears that Malo was born about the year 520, probably in Wales.
