James Alexander Renwick: was a Canadian politician. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1964 until his death. He campaigned for the Ontario party in the 1963 provincial election, and lost to Progressive Conservative candidate Stanley Randall by 4,456 votes in the Toronto constituency of Don Mills. Renwick was re-elected in 1971, 1975, 1977 and 1981, and remained a Member of Provincial Parliament until his death. He also served as president of the federal NDP in the late 1960s.
