Pasang Lhamu Sherpa: was the first Nepali woman to climb the summit of Mount Everest.She was born into a mountaineering family and was involved in climbing from her teens. She had successfully climbed Mont Blanc, Cho Oyu, and others. She had attempted Everest three times before, but did not succeed until April 22, 1993 when she reached the summit by the South Col via the Southeast Ridge route. While she was descending with her husband, Sonam Chhiring, she fell into a crevasse and died. Even though she had fallen, the deeds she had done are still remembered by Nepalese men and women today.

Osman Nuri Pasa: was an Ottoman Turkish field marshal and the hero of the Siege of Pleven in 1877.Osman pasa was born into a prominent family (Yagciogullari) of the city of Tokat in Central Anatolia. His father was a civil worker. Soon after Osman's birth, his father was appointed to a position in the Ottoman capital, and the family moved to Constantinople, where Osman did his studies.
