Karol Aida Cariola Oliva: is a Chilean graduate in obstetrics, and a former president of the Federación de Estudiantes de la Universidad de Concepción (University of Concepción Student Federation) for 2010. She was elected General Secretary of the Juventudes Comunistas de Chile, abbr. JJ.CC, (the youth wing of the Communist Party of Chile) at the organizations XIII Congress held in October 2011. Cariola was elected as General Secretary of the JJ.CC. amidst one of the most significant mass social mobilization in recent Chilean history – referred by the media as the Chilean Winter. This mobilization has seen students across Chile refuse to return to school or university (commencing in late April 2011 to the end of the 2011 academic year) and demand an end to the privatization of education. Cariola has stated that the student mobilization, protests and strikes have a political nature and she has refuted the statement made by the Chilean government spokesperson Andrés Chadwick that the CONFECH (Chile’s Confederation of Student Unions) has been taken over by extremist elements.

José Antonio Guerra Oliva: is a male diver from Cuba. He represented his native country at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000 (Sydney, Australia). Guerra won a gold and three silver medals at Pan American Games during his career.He also won 2 gold medals at Central American Games becoming the only Cuban male diver in history achieving this. The Cuban diver is the only diver in his country to win a gold medal at World University Games in 1999 Palma de Mallorca adding a silver and a bronze in Beijing in 2001. Being the only Cuban diver to lead the Diving World Ranking in the history, back in 2005. Winner of Forty (40) medals at the Diving Grand Prix and 130 medals total along his career (until April 2011) (98 in international events and 32 in nationals), and is considered the best diver in Cuba of all times.His coach is Lino Socorro Aleman, from Matanzas, Cuba, proudly co-owner of the 95% of these titles.
