Ole Ålgård: was a Norwegian diplomat.From 1951 to 1956 he was a legation secretary in Vienna, changing to chargé d'affaires as Norway got an embassy in the country. He mainly worked in Norway from 1956 to 1961, as an embassy councellor at the Norwegian United Nations embassy from 1961 to 1964, and as embassy councellor in the Council of Europe from 1965 to 1967.

Ole 'Iron Fist' Laursen: is a Filipino-Danish welterweight Muay Thai kickboxer and lightweight mixed martial artist, fighting out of Ubon Ratchatani, Thailand. Laursen made his professional MMA debut in 2006 and had two fights with the K-1 Hero's promotion in Japan. Laursen had a trial with the Philippines national boxing team and was accepted but decided to move to Thailand instead of staying in the Philippines to pursue a career in boxing. He lost his first fight against Genki Sudo by decision and his second fight to Caol Uno by third round submission. Laursen was suffering from a knee injury and was not able to train properly for the fight with Uno. On July 15th 2011 it was announced that Laursen had signed with One Fighting Championship. On July 18th it was announced that Laursen would be facing fellow Filipino Eduard Folayang at ONE Fighting Championship: Champion vs. Champion at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on September 3rd.
