Nikolaos Xydias Typaldos: was a Greek painter. Born in Cefallonia, he studied in Italy and in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts; he lived in France until returning to Greece in the 1890s; he died in Athens. He remained an academic artist throughout most of his career.

Nikolaos Trikoupis: was a Greek general and politician. he entered the Greek Army Academy, which he graduated in 1888 as an Artillery Second Lieutenant. He furthered his studies in France, where he remained from 1889 to 1895. He competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics, held in Athens in the military rifle and the free rifle events. He came third in the first with a score of 1,713, after hitting the target 34 times out of a possible 40. His place and score in the second event are unknown, except that he did not finish in the top five.

Nikolaos Kalogeropoulos: was a Greek politician and briefly Prime Minister of Greece. Kalogeropoulos was born in Chalkida, Euboea, and studied law in Athens and Paris. He was elected a Member of the Hellenic Parliament a total of ten times representing Euboea and served as minister in several conservative governments. He was associated with the People's Party after its formation in 1920.

He was sent to France for training. After his return, he participated in the Greco-Turkish War of 1897 where he fought in the area of Taratsa (a village of Lamia) and won there.

Nikolaos Politis: was a Greek diplomat of the Interwar period. He was a professor of law by training, and prior to the First World War taught law at Paris University. He served as Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs on 1916-1920 and again in 1922. Also served as Greek representative to the League of Nations. In 1929 promoted a resolution at the League disarmament commission that enabled the commission to continue its work.[1]
