Two years after leaving the program, Natalie launched a singing career with the international hit, "Torn". The subsequent debut album Left of the Middle (1997) sold 7 million copies worldwide. Natalie Bassingthwaighte: She is the former lead vocalist of electro-pop band Rogue Traders, author of an inspirational book for teenage girls and host of So You Think You Can Dance Australia. She is perhaps best known for the role of Izzy Hoyland on the soap opera Neighbours from 2003 to 2007, of which gained her nominations for the TV Week Gold Logie.Before being cast in Neighbours, Bassingthwaighte had a few television roles, including All Saints "Touch and Go". Bassingthwaighte's character on Neighbours had an evil streak, and was involved in several big storylines. She left the show in late-2006 to focus on her singing career with the Rogue Traders, and returned briefly in March 2007 for a two-week guest stint that was filmed in London where Rogue Traders were touring at the time.

She is best known for her role as one of the main characters, Jackie Clunes in the British TV comedy Hotel Babylon.Presentation Star of the Sea Secondary College until half way through year 11 when she was accepted into Cats the Musical after auditioning alongside her sister. In 1998, Mendoza formed the band Jackson Mendoza with her sister Rebecca. They had minor success, releasing two singles that reached the Top 30 in Australia before disbanding in 2000, while Mendoza was achieving great success in her television roles.
