Miljenko Kovacic: was a Croatian soccer player . His nickname was “The Son of the Wind". He played professionally for quite a few teams, most notably for Dinamo Zagreb with which he was part of the national championship victory in 1995-1996 and Brescia (Italy). Certain choices he made in his professional career were interesting, at one point he quit playing because of religious reasons (he was a member of the Hare Krishna religion stating money being the root of evil and that he was content with what he had.

Miljenko "Dino" Dvornik: was a Croatian singer, songwriter, music producer, actor and reality television star. Dino was best known to the public as a musician, more so than an actor, as he only took sporadic forays into acting over the years. His music had originally made him famous, earning him wide popularity across the regions of the former Yugoslavia. In the early 1980s, Dino and his brother Dean founded Kineski zid (Chinese wall or Great wall), a pop band named after the building in which the Dvornik family lived at that time in Split. It was the first domestic funk record released in Croatia. He had been a perfectionist by reputation, who would lock himself in the studio for months. However, differences between the interests of the band members and the public led the band to an early breakup.
