Masato Kato: a Japanese game developer and scenario writer. He first worked for Tecmo on Captain Tsubasa and the Ninja Gaiden series. He went on to work for Gainax, then Square. He is mostly known for having penned the script of Chrono Trigger (based on a story draft by Yuuji Horii), as well as Radical Dreamers, parts of Final Fantasy VII, Xenogears and Chrono Cross.Kato left Square after designing the plot of Final Fantasy XI: Rise of the Zilart to become a freelance scenario writer. In addition to games for different companies, he has continued to work on Square Enix projects such as the World of Mana series, an enhanced port of Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS, and three more expansion chapters for Final Fantasy XI.

Masato Kawabata: a Japanese professional drifting driver, currently competing in the D1 Grand Prix series for Team Toyo.He was interested in cars from an early age, and as soon he received his drivers licence he purchased a Nissan 180SX and began practising drifting techniques. He studied Keiichi Tsuchiya's 'Drift Bible' and learnt fast, soon he was ready to take his drifting to the race track where he met D1 driver Atsushi Kuroi who gave him plenty of advice on how to improve. At 19 entered his first drift competition against his mentor Kuroi and to everyones surprise he won. When he was 21 he was scouted by the president of tuning company GP Sports who sponsored him until 2003 when he was offered a job testing for them
