Masao Kinoshita: the founder of Acom, a major consumer loan company in Japan. Kyosuke Kinoshita, the current chairman of the company, is his eldest son. Kinoshita was a native of Akashi, Hyogo.

Masao Adachi            Origin/Culture/Country: Japanese

Masao Adachi: was a Japanese screenwriter and director in the 1960s and 1970s. Best known for his writing collaborations with directors Koji Wakamatsu and Nagisa Oshima, he also directed a number of his own films, usually dealing with left-wing political themes. He stopped making films in the early 1970s and joined the Japanese Red Army, an armed militant organization. After residing in Lebanon for 28 years, he was arrested for passport violations. He was found guilty of passport violations in September 2001 and received a four-year sentence, suspended to 18 months. After his release he was deported to Japan via Jordan, where he was re-arrested on other passport violations. After being held for a year and a half he was convicted and released based on the time he had already served. Since his release, he has resumed making films after a 30 year absence.

Masao Urino: He has written lyrics for many musical groups and individual artists, sometimes under the pseudonym Reiji Aso (?? ??, Aso Reiji?).[2]After graduating from Tochigi Prefectural Ashikaga High School, he graduated in 1974 with a degree in literature from Sophia University. After graduating, he worked as a copy writer for the advertising firm Mannensha (????), which went bankrupt in 1999. Due to missing an error in an advertisement in a national newspaper, though, he was forced to do other work. While working at Tokyu Agency International (now Frontage), he made his lyricist debut with the 1981 Chanels song Hoshi Kuzu no Dance Hall.[2][3]

Masao Kume: was a popular playwright, novelist and haiku poet (under the pen-name of Santei) in late Taisho period and early Showa period Japan.Kume exhibited a talent for haiku poetry even in elementary school. After graduating from Tokyo Imperial University under Natsume Soseki (together with classmates Ryunosuke Akutagawa and Kikuchi Kan, he joined a literary group that published a magazine called (Shinshicho (???, New Currents of Thought ?)).
