Leszek Blazynski: was a boxer from Poland, who twice won the bronze medal in the men's flyweight (– 51 kg) division at the Summer Olympics. He first did so in 1972, when Munich hosted the Games. Four years later in Montreal, Canada he once again captured the bronze, after a loss in the semifinals against eventual winner Leo Randolph of the United States. Blazynski died in 1992, aged 43.

Leszek Marian Kosedowski: is a retired boxer from Poland, who won the bronze medal in the men's featherweight division (– 57 kg) at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada. There he was defeated in the semifinals by eventual silver medalist Richard Nowakowski of East Germany.His younger brothers Krzysztof Kosedowski and Dariusz Kosedowski were also boxers who competed in the Olympics for Poland.

Leszek Beblo: is a former long-distance runner from Poland, who represented his native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992 in Barcelona, Spain. He set his personal best (2:09:42) in the classic distance in 1995.

Leszek Dunecki: was a Polish athlete who competed mainly in the 100/200 metres. He was polish champion on 6 occasions.In 1979 was world student 100/200 runner up. Finishing 2nd only behind Pietro Mennea who ran the then new world record 19.72. Dunecki ran 20.26. Dunecki's Polish national record of 20.26 was improved in 1999, by Marcin Urbas (19.98 s), after 20 years.He competed for Poland in the 1980 Summer Olympics held in Moscow, Soviet Union in the 100 where he reached the Quarter final, and the 200 metres where he reached the final and finished 6th. He also competed in the 4 x 100 metre relay where he won the silver medal with his team mates Krzysztof Zwolinski, Zenon Licznerski and Marian Woronin. In 1981 he was a member of the polish/Europe 4x100 relay team that finished 1st in the world cup.

Leszek Dlugosz: is a Polish actor, poet, writer and composer. For many years he has been a member of cabaret "Piwnica pod Baranami", one of the most famous cabarets during the times of People's Republic of Poland.Leszek Dlugosz studied at the Jagiellonian University (Uniwersytet Jagiellonski) in Kraków (major in Polish linguistics) and Polish Higher School of Theater (Polska Wyzsza Szkola Teatralna) (major in acting). He has studied music since childhood and started his public performances at the Jagiellonian University’s Theater Hefajstos. In 1963 he won the Student’s Song Competition (Festiwal Piosenki Studenckiej) in Kraków, and a year later he joined the cabaret "Piwnica Pod Baranami". His debut as a poet took place in 1973 with the publication of Lekcje Rytmiki. In 1978 he began a career of solo performances. He has since published many poetry and lyrics books, and has issued several CDs. He is the leader of an informal Kraków Poetic Club. He has performed around the world.
