Leszek Pisz: former Polish football player.Pisz arrived to Legia Warszawa in 1986, from Igloopol Debica. At first, he was a substitute but later he become a star of the team. He was known as a specialist of free kicks, scoring many goals from stationary balls.In 1995, Legia won the Polish Premier League and qualified to the Champions League, where they endured to the quarter finals. Pisz performed admirably in Legia's first group match against Rosenborg BK, scoring two goals, including the equalizing one for Legia with which he became the first player to score for a Polish team during the Champions League group stages

Leszek Cichy: is a Polish mountaineer, geodesist, financier, and entrepreneur. He was born in Pruszków, Poland on November 14, 1951. He is best known for making the first winter ascent of Mount Everest together with Krzysztof Wielicki in 1980 which established the winter ascent record of 8,848 meters. He was also the first Polish climber to complete the Seven Summits and a number of other prestigious climbs.

Leszek Moczulski: is a Polish historian and politician, a member of various organizations opposing the communist regime in the People's Republic of Poland and the co-founder of the first non-communist and not-underground political party in the Eastern Bloc.In 1951 he graduated from the Academy of Political Studies, a school of cadres for the communist regime. The following year he graduated also from the faculties of Law and Journalism at the Warsaw University. He completed his education in 1958 by graduating from the faculty of history at the same university. About that time he started to work as a journalist for various Warsaw-based newspapers and weeklies, among them the Zycie Warszawy, Dookola Swiata and Stolica weekly. As a historian, Moczulski focused mostly on modern history of Poland, including the history of the Polish Defensive War.

Leszek Blazynski: was a boxer from Poland, who twice won the bronze medal in the men's flyweight (– 51 kg) division at the Summer Olympics. He first did so in 1972, when Munich hosted the Games. Four years later in Montreal, Canada he once again captured the bronze, after a loss in the semifinals against eventual winner Leo Randolph of the United States. Blazynski died in 1992, aged 43.
