Lancaster Gordon: is a retired American professional basketball player who was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 1st round (8th overall) of the 1984 NBA Draft. A 6'3" guard from the University of Louisville, Gordon played in four NBA seasons for the Clippers from 1984-1988. In his career, Gordon played in 201 games and scored a total of 1,125 points.

Geoffrey Lancaster: an Australian classical pianist and conductor. Born in Sydney, he was raised in Dubbo, New South Wales before moving to Canberra. He attended the Canberra School of Music where he studied piano with Larry Sitsky. He also studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, graduating with a Doctor of Philosophy, and also completed a Masters degree at the University of Tasmania. In 1984, he moved to Amsterdam to study fortepiano with Stanley Hoogland at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. In 1996 he was a professor at the Royal College of Music in London. Since 2000, he has been based in Canberra.
