Yang Lan: is a Chinese businesswoman, talk show hostess, and co-owner with her husband Wu Zheng (also known as Bruno Wu) of Sun Television Cybernetworks in Shanghai, China. Yang Lan is a media baroness, corporate entrepreneur and a leading television host in China. She and her husband, Bruno Wu, co-founded Sun Media Investment Holdings Ltd, one of China’s most prominent private media groups. The business spans television production, newspapers and magazines, as well as online publishing. Yang holds a master's degree (MIA) from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where she is now a member of the Columbia University International Advisory Council (IAC). She earned her undergraduate degree from the Beijing Foreign Studies University.

Lu Lan: is a female badminton player from the People's Republic of China. In 2004 she won the Polish Open. In 2006 she won the Korea Open and finished the year in the 5th position in the BWF World Ranking. In 2007 she won the Denmark Super Series, and was a bronze medalist at the World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, losing to the eventual champion Zhu Lin in the semifinals. In November of that year she reached the third place in the BWF World Ranking.

In the FIBA Asia Championship for Women 2009, Bian helped China to win the tournament, she averaged 10.1 pts, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game and was named the MVP of the tournament.
