Juhani "Juhku" Kumpulainen: was a Finnish actor. His first film role was in year 1950 in the film Maija löytää sävelen (Finnish: Maija Finds a Tone). Kumpulainen became to known in 1950s in the Pekka ja Pätkä movies, (Finnish: Pekka and Pätkä), where he acted minor roles. He appeared also in many soldier farces in 1950s and 1960s. Kumpulainen was married with actress Mirjam Kumpulainen. Kumpulainen did all in all 85 film roles during years 1950-1991. Kumpulainen had also very high office in the administration- and organization jobs of Yleisradio.

Juhani Helenius: is a Finnish sprint canoer who competed in the late 1950s. At the 1956 Summer Olympics, he was disqualified in the heats of the K-2 1000 m event. Four years later in Rome, he was eliminated in the semifinals of the K-1 4 x 500 m event.

Juhani Salmenkylä: is a Finnish orienteering competitor and European champion. He won a gold medal with the Finnish relay team at the 1964 European Orienteering Championships in Le Brassus.[1]He received a silver medal in the relay at the 1966 World Orienteering Championships with the Finnish team, and again in 1968.[2]

Juhani Kärkinen: is a former Finnish ski jumper who competed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He won the ski jumping gold medal at the 1958 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti. He has one child (daughter Kirsi Kärkinen).
