Jorma Gallen-Kallela: was a Finnish artist. He followed in the footsteps of his father, the famed artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela.After the destruction of his father's frescoes in the Juselius Mausoleum in Pori after the death of his father in 1931, Jorma used his father's sketches to recreate the artwork.Jorma Gallen-Kallela spent part of the Winter War as a lieutenant. While inspecting a downed plane of the Soviet Air Force on the second day of the war, he was shot dead while saving the life of captain Adolf Ehrnrooth.

Jorma Hynninen: a Finnish baritone. He studied from 1966 to 1970 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, and also took lessons from Luigi Ricci in Rome and Kurt Overhoff in Salzburg. Since then he has been a soloist at the Finnish National Opera (1970-90) and musical director (1984-90). He has also sung in various other countries.In 1969 he won first prize the Lappeenranta Solo Voice Competition and competition in 1969 and made his opera debut with the Finnish National Opera in the same year as Silvio in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci. In 1971 he took first prize in the Scandinavian Singing Competition held in Helsinki and in 1996 won the Cannes Classical Award.

Jorma Kalevi Sarvanto: was a Finnish Air Force pilot and the foremost Finnish fighter ace of the Winter War.Sarvanto was born and raised in Turku, Finland. He attended high school in Turku and graduated in 1933.[1] He was first admitted to the Pori Infantry Regiment, but decided to apply when the Finnish Air Force sent out a notice that they would select officer trainees. He was admitted and sent to the Reserve Officer Pilot Course number 4 at the Kauhava Air Base. He knew he had come to the right place. He completed his reserve officer training in 1934 and was unemployed for a while due to the Great Depression. He decided to apply to the Cadet School, Air Warfare Section where he wanted to become a cadre (professional) officer, and he was admitted in autumn 1934. In May 1937 his training was completed.
