Joji Kato: a Japanese speedskater specialised in the sprinting distance 500 metres. At the age of 17 he became the first junior speedskater to skate the 500 metres below 35 seconds.Until march 9th 2007 he was the world record holder with the 34.30 he skated in Salt Lake City on November 19, 2005. He lost the worldrecord to Kang-Seok Lee, who skated 34,25 in Salt Lake City.At the age of 20, he became the 500 metres World Champion at the 2005 World Single Distance Championships, leaving behind no less skaters then Hiroyasu Shimizu and Jeremy Wotherspoon. After this achievement he was considered to be one of the favourites of achieving a medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.

Joji Miyao: a is Japanese former tennis player. He began playing tennis at the age of 6 under the influence of his parents. He was educated at Waseda University and won the All-Japan University Tennis Championship in doubles play.[1] He turned pro in October 2004. His career best WTA singles ranking is number 15 in Japan.Miyao was arrested for drug possession after a police raid on October 10, 2008 at the Minato, Tokyo apartment of his girlfriend, former AV idol Risa Coda, discovered about 0.7 grams of dry marijuana. Coda told police she obtained the marijuana to smoke with Miyao who had been spending several nights a week at her apartment. Miyao admitted to the charges.[2][3][4]. He insisted that he did not know that Coda had previously used drugs.[5] On December 22, 2008, the Tokyo District Court sentenced Miyao to 6 months in prison suspended for three years. The ruling said that Miyao had forced his girlfriend Risa Coda to buy the marijuana for him. The judge said that Miyao had admitted using marijuana regularly as an escape from his poor playing record.[6]

Joji Takeuchi: is an Japanese professional basketball player. He plays for the Aisin Seahorses of the JBL Super League. Takeuchi also is a member of the Japan national basketball team, playing for the team in the 2006 FIBA World Championship and both the FIBA Asia Champ
