Henryk Skolimowski: is a Polish philosopher. He completed technical studies, musicology and philosophy in Warsaw. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Oxford University.[1]Skolimowski's work is targeted at overcoming human angst and disconnection caused in part by the overwhelming preponderance of modern technology, which had its seeds in the Industrial Revolution. Our accelerating dependence on technology at the expense of a right relationship with Nature and the planet is a prime concern within Skolimowski's work, as is the increasing inability of organized patriarchal religions to provide a meaningful spiritual platform from which modern human beings may appropriately evolve.

Henryk Chmielewski: was a Polish boxer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics.[1]In 1936 he finished fourth in the middleweight class. After his loss in the semifinal bout against Henry Tiller he was not able to fight in the bronze medal bout against Raúl Villareal.In 1938, he emigrated to the United States, where he became a profesional boxer (Henry Chemel). He died in Hollywood, Florida.
