Haim Herman Cohen: was an Israeli jurist and politician.In addition to his civil service, he was also a visiting lecturer in the Tel Aviv University (from 1956 to 1969) and Hebrew University (from 1954 to 1976) law schools, a representative of Israel in the United Nations Human Rights Council and a member of the International Court of Justice in Hague.[5] He was a member of the "T'hila" Movement for Israeli Jewish secularism.

He held several ministerial portfolios, and served as Minister of Agriculture between 1964 and 1974.He made aliyah to Mandate Palestine in 1924, and was one of the founders of kibbutz Gevat in 1926, serving as its secretary for several years. He was also a member of the secretariat of HaKibbutz HaMeuhad. Following the split in the kibbutz movement, he moved to Yifat.
