Georges Migot: was a prolific French composer. Though primarily known as a composer, he was also a poet, often integrating his poetry into his compositions, and an accomplished painter. He won the 1921 Prix Blumenthal.[1]

Georges Van Parys: was a French composer of film music and operettas. Among his musical influences were the group Les Six, Maurice Ravel, and Claude Debussy. Later in his career he served as vice-president of the Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique.

Georges Samuel Tzipine            Origin/Culture/Country: French

Georges Samuel Tzipine: was a French violinist, conductor and composer. He was of Russian origin.[2] He was trained as a violinist at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, winning a first prize in 1926[3], but moved to conducting in 1931 after support from Reynaldo Hahn.[2] He conducted the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra and worked for French Radiodiffusion, then for the Ballets Russes and Roland Petit’s ballet. From the mid-1920s he was musical director of Gaumont Newsreel, for which he composed a great deal of varied background music to suit all kinds of documentary moods and themes.[3] His film scores included: Le Rat des villes et le Rat des champs (1926), Coq en pâte (1951), and Les Amoureux de Marianne (1954).

Georges Martin Witkowski: was a French conductor and composer of classical music. Witkowski started out in the army, becoming a cavalry officer and meeting Louis Vierne during that time[1]. He later studied with Vincent d'Indy at the Schola Cantorum, and, after settling in Lyon, was appointed director of the conservatory there in 1924[2].

Georges Berthet: was a French sportsman who took part in the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix and the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam. Berthet won an Olympic bronze medal at the 1924 Winter Olympics in Chamonix. He was part of the French team which came in third place in the military patrol behind Switzerland and Finland. Six teams took part in the event on 31 January 1924 but only four completed the course. The others in the team were Camille Mandrillon, André Vandelle and Maurice Mandrillon.
