Galip Sokullu: is a Turkish vocalist. He was born in the Sultantepe district in Istanbul, Turkey.Galip Sokullu started his music career in 1972, starting in the Bati Müzigi (West Music) choir at Ankara Radyosu (Ankara Radio Station). He later entered the Istanbul Radyosu (Istanbul Radio Station) in 1977 as a TSM (1) artist. He retired from TRT after 29 years. He released only a single album during his career. He is still involved in theater and writes compositions.

Royal Galipeau: is a Member of Parliament for the Ottawa—Orléans federal constituency. He was the successful Conservative Party candidate in the Canadian federal elections of 2006 and 2008. He was one of the Deputy Speakers of the House of Commons, and served two terms as a director of TVOntario during which he became one of the founders of TFO. Galipeau was appointed in 2001 by the Council of the newly amalgamated city of Ottawa as Trustee of the Ottawa Public Library, where he helped introduce content-filtered Internet access to city public libraries to protect from Internet pornography on library computers. In 2004, he was the only Trustee of the previous term to be reappointed by City Council. He was twice elected as vice-chair of the Board.

Antonin Galipeault: was a Québécois politician, lawyer and judge . He was elected deputy of Bellechasse in 1909, and was re-elected in 1912, 1916, 1919, 1923 and 1927. He was notably President of the National Assembly of Quebec from 1916 to 1919 and minister of public works under Louis-Alexandre Taschereau. He left political life in 1930 to become chief judge of the Court of King's Bench. While the post of Lieutenant Governor of Quebec was vacant between 1950 and 1953, he administered the province of Quebec.
