Czeslaw Jacek Centkiewicz: was a Polish engineer, explorer.During World War II he remained in Warsaw and after the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 he was arrested by the Germans and deported to the Neuengamme concentration camp. After the war he became a director of a large power plant cluster in Lower Silesia (in Jelenia Góra) and at the State Hydrological-Meteorological Institute. In 1950 he returned to Warsaw where he continued to promote the exploration of polar areas and published numerous books on that topic.

Czeslaw Idzkiewicz: was a Polish painter and teacher. He was born in Rózan, Poland to Peter and Alexandra Magnuszewska.Between 1908 and 1912 he was a student of Szkola Sztuk Pieknych (School of Fine Arts) in Warsaw, where he studied drawing and painting. In 1912 he went to Antwerp to study at Academie Royale de Beaux Arts and then in 1913 and 1914 he continued his studies in Kraków in the Academy of Fine Arts as a student of Józef Mehoffer and Józef Pankiewicz.

Czeslaw Lejewski: was a Polish philosopher and logician, and a member of the Lwow-Warsaw School of Logic. He studied under Jan Lukasiewicz and Karl Popper in the London School of Economics, and W.V.O. Quine.[1][2][3].In his paper "Logic and Existence" (1954–5) he presented a version of free logic. He begins by presenting the problem of non-referring nouns, and commends Quine for resisting the temptation to solve the problem by saying that non-referring names are meaningless. Quine's solution, however, was that we must first decide whether our name refers before we know how to treat it logically. Lejewski found this unsatisfactory because we should have a formal distinction between referring and non-referring names. He goes on to write, "This state of affairs does not seem to be very satisfactory

Czeslaw Znamierowski: was a Polish philosopher, jurist and sociologist.[1]In 1924–39 and in 1945–65 Znamierowski was professor of law theory at Poznan University. From 1948 he was a member of the Polish Academy of Learning.[1]
